Course Description: A biopsychosocial approach systematically considers the whole person (physical/mental/social) to remove barriers to recovery and facilitate return to work—when returning to work is possible. This presentation discusses using this approach to treat a seriously injured worker and starts with the biopsychosocial assessment—what it involves and how you can use it to ensure a safe discharge from a hospital or rehab center.
