providing information on Durable Medical Equipment to staff, referral source
and injured worker. Working closely with
referral source, injured worker and DME provider to coordinate smooth
acquisition and delivery of DME in a timely fashion.

Knowledgeable of injured worker’s
rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and
well-being of that injured worker.
- Supports, cooperates with, and

including injured worker’s demographics, employee and operations data.
- Quality Assurance and compliance
with all regulatory requirements.
- Compliance with current law and

active status of DME to referral source.
- Update referral source ongoing until
DME has been delivered.
- Provide and receive written
authorization from payor source prior to delivery of equipment.
- Work closely with referral source,
injured worker and DME provider to ensure appropriate DME is delivered in specified
- Confirm delivery of DME with
provider, referral source and injured worker.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by
contacting injured worker and referral source.
- Expand current list of DME providers
and secure best possible pricing for equipment for Home Care Connect.
- Ensure DME billing is accurate by
providing pricing to Billing Department.
- Coordinate specific work tasks with
other personnel within the office as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient
flow of information.
- Respond to inquiries relating to
his/her particular area within given timeframes and within established policy.
- Duties may include taking call on
weekends, for which compensation will be provided.

Education/Training: A high school diploma and some college credit and/or
Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;
knowledge of medical terminology; good interpersonal relations and

Experience: Health Care, Home Modification, or Property Adjusting experience
