Anita Jovic, RN, BSN, MBA

VP of Operations (HomeCare Connect)


Anita Jovic is the Vice President of Operations for HomeCare Connect, overseeing its clinical operations, including catastrophic care. She also conducts continuing education programs on a variety of home health clinical topics, including wound care, catastrophic care, and clinically driven home modification and durable medical equipment programs.
Anita has more than 25 years of nursing experience, encompassing workers’ compensation, catastrophic care, and home health. Before joining HomeCare Connect in 2015, Anita was responsible for one of the largest workers’ compensation catastrophic care programs in Florida. She previously served as Chief Nursing Officer for a home health agency and as Chief Executive Nursing Officer for a consulting firm that established a respiratory recovery program with several South Florida hospitals. Earlier, Anita was a nurse case manager, a hospice nurse, and a nurse manager for Lexington Cancer Center in Kentucky. She started her nursing career at Orlando Regional Hospital in Florida.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University and her Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida.

Jan Saunders, CPO, LPO

Director of Prosthetics & Orthotics (HomeCare Connect)

Jan A. Saunders is a nationally certified prosthetist/orthotist with more than 40 years’ experience.  In addition to providing clinical oversight of HomeCare Connect’s prosthetic-orthotic program, which includes peer-to-peer consultation and bill review. Saunders conducts continuing education programs, participates in carrier settlement planning discussions, and provides expert testimonies and depositions.
He began his career as a prosthetic technician before attending Northwestern University in Chicago and New York University’s School of Medicine prosthetic and orthotics program. In addition to treating patients over the years, he owned and operated several P&O companies that were later sold to publicly traded companies.  Most recently, he was the President and Chief Clinical Officer of one of the largest multi-state, multi-clinic orthotic and prosthetic providers in the United States.

Teresa Williams, MSW, LCSW

CEO – Partner (HomeCare Connect)

Teresa Williams, along with Vonesa Wenzel and Cindy Hailey, founded HomeCare Connect in 2011. Her responsibilities as CEO encompass budget planning and implementation and human resources along with providing clinical oversight of the company’s home health and durable medical equipment products.
Teresa developed the company’s comprehensive national home health provider network and its home health referral network.
She was a partner in Speedy Medicare Set-Asides from 2004 until its sale to Express Scripts in 2008. She continued working closely with Express Scripts through 2010 to facilitate a seamless transition of the business into its organization.
Before becoming involved in the workers’ compensation industry, Teresa was the Director of CNS Research Clinic, which conducted central nervous system drug studies. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), she previously worked in hospital psychiatric settings, in both management and counseling roles.
Teresa earned her Bachelors of Sociology degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, and her Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
